TED
TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started in 1984 as a four -day conference in California, TED has grown to support its mission with multiple initiative. Today, TED covers almost all topics by speakers from all disciplines and cultures. From science to business to global issues, TED is covered by over 100 languages, leaving footprint all over the world. TED speakers have included Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sir Ric hard Branson, Nandan Nilekani, Philippe Starck, Ngozi Okonjo - Iweala, Sal Khan and Daniel Kahneman.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection . These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x= independently organized TED event . The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations)
There is a movement of people who are engaged in discussing new ideas, and are putting ideas into action to improve our community. This movement is TEDxTajNagri. TEDxTajNagri imbues the progressive spirit found in the district of Agra, and is one of the most established off the independently organized TEDx communities in Uttar Pradesh. As we embrace the second year of TEDxTajNagri, we are excited about the opportunities that are before us. We have continued to grow and evolve, and participants get to take their own ideas and put them into action. TEDxTajNagri is a community where the spark of an idea becomes a movement with purpose.
